DEFINING WHAT IT MEANS TO OPTIMIZE THE WAY YOU GENERATE MONEY (1:10)

What does it mean to optimize the way you generate money?

How do you feel when you generate money? How does it feel in your body?

Every day is an opportunity to pause, reflect and realign with your core values.

Especially right now. Permission granted to not go back to what wasn’t serving you.

Start by defining your core values. Here are some ideas to get you started:

  • Integrity = always strive to do the right thing
  • Freedom = live life on my own terms, dictate my time & monetary worth
  • Service = we vs me = get out of self, to whom much is given, much is expected
  • Sustainability = leaving the planet better than you found it
  • Impact = live your legacy, or what was it all for?

WHAT NO ONE TOLD YOU ABOUT OPTIMIZING THE WAY YOU GENERATE MONEY (24:24)

Typically, we’re taught that we need to go to college (which requires most of us to go into massive debt) in order to get a “good” job. We’re also taught that we need to trade time for money and that having a traditional 9 – 5 job is the best way to create financial security.

However, more of us are realizing this just isn’t true.

More and more people are creating their own businesses and financial security without going into massive debt or having a traditional job. Beyond this, we’re realizing that in most typical jobs, you can be replaced at any time, which means they don’t truly offer financial security.

CHANGES DUE TO COVID AND HOW THIS IMPACTS THE WAY YOU GENERATE MONEY(33:57)

For many of us, the changes we’ve experienced and witnessed this year are leading us to re-evaluate how we generate money.

We realize it’s time to realign with how we generate money with what matters most to us.

We realize how important it is to have flexibility in how we generate money and the benefits to having multiple streams of income.

We’re seeing the changes we can make in order to create true financial wellness no matter what is happening in the world around us.

THE 4 THINGS YOU CAN DO TODAY TO START OPTIMIZING THE WAY YOU GENERATE MONEY (36:50)

Step 1: Get Clear on Your Purpose

What life experiences could be used as a vehicle to impact change?

What life experience was prepping you to step into your purpose?

When you wake up in the morning – what excites you and makes you want to jump out of bed?

Step 2: Find Your Community

Who you surround yourself with matters. The people in our lives can lift us up or bring us down. Find people who have what you want. Learn from their experiences. Step 3: Invest in Yourself

Make the commitment to your vision by investing in yourself. Purchase books or courses that can help you learn what you need to learn. Seek out a mentor or coach who can help you find your way forward with greater ease and success.

Step 4: Find a Way to Give Back

Volunteering helps you connect with others and can bring you fulfillment beyond your career path. Beyond this, it can counteract the effects of stress, anger, anxiety, and depression, all while increasing your self-confidence and happiness.
